Little Acorn Production Company

Little Acorn Production Company was formed in 1999 to perform an original play written by Michelle Crooks. The play was so successful we decided to continue to perform original works and also started performing plays by recognised authors.

To improve we entered competitions which provided us with professional feedback on our performances. From the start we won awards for our performances and as one of the smallest groups in the competition we are always the underdog.

 

We continue to defy the odds against drama groups that are from much larger theatres. We always joke these groups have more back stage assistance than we have members in our entire group.

As a small, happy band we want to continue to perform, learn, improve and more importantly always aim to entertain. We welcome others to join in, with or without experience. Well, we all started with no experience and had to learn somewhere.
